Mission Statement & Our History

Since 1993, TIP of Merrimack Valley has served as a vital support system for citizens during their most vulnerable moments. Our mission is built on trauma-informed care and volunteer-powered response, ensuring that no one has to face the immediate aftermath of a tragedy alone. We respond 24/7 at the request of police, fire, EMS, and hospital personnel to provide a compassionate, stable presence and immediate emotional first aid when it is needed most.
